A Vision Takes Its First Step

Kornet’s story began in September 2000 with a small, dedicated team and a clear vision: to provide reliable and professional logistics services rooted in excellence, integrity, and customer trust.

In an industry that demanded resilience and adaptability, Kornet quickly proved that commitment and hard work could transform a modest beginning into something remarkable.

From the start, our philosophy was simple: build trust by consistently delivering quality service.

Building Credibility and Trust

Just two years into our journey, Kornet secured accreditation as a Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier with the Philippine Shippers Bureau.

During the same period, we were recognized as an International Freight Forwarder by the Civil Aeronautics Board.

These dual accreditations validated our credibility and established the foundation for competing in both air and sea freight forwarding.

Raising the Standard of Service

The mid-2000s marked an important period of growth and consolidation for Kornet.

In 2005, we earned accreditation with the Philippine Ports Authority, strengthening our presence in maritime logistics.

A year later, Kornet achieved its first ISO 9001:2000 Certification—a prestigious recognition of our strong quality-management systems and our commitment to exceeding international standards.

This achievement gave clients further assurance that our processes were efficient, dependable, and globally aligned.

Becoming a Full-Service Logistics Partner

As Kornet gained momentum, we looked beyond our original core operations.

In 2007, we expanded through the establishment of Kornet Logistics and Kornet Express Courier.

This strategic diversification allowed us to provide more integrated logistics solutions, serve new markets, and evolve from a forwarding company into a full-service logistics partner.

The year 2008 became a landmark in Kornet’s history. We achieved membership with the International Air Transport Association, placing Kornet among recognized global players in air freight.

That same year, Kornet launched its first international branch—Kornet Express Vietnam—marking our entry into Southeast Asia and demonstrating our ability to compete internationally.

Expanding Across the Philippines

Kornet’s domestic network grew rapidly as we established a stronger presence across the country.

In 2010, we opened our Clark branch, further cementing our standing in Central Luzon.

In 2011, we expanded to Cebu, strategically positioning Kornet in one of the country’s most important trade gateways.

Expansion continued with the opening of our Davao branch in 2014, followed by branches in Bataan and Cagayan de Oro in 2016.

These developments allowed Kornet to strengthen its coverage across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Going Beyond Business

Kornet’s journey has always been about more than business growth.

In 2013, we established the Sarang Foundation, our corporate social responsibility arm dedicated to meaningful community initiatives.

During the pandemic in 2021, we expanded further with branches in Subic and Laguna.

Since 2008, Kornet has consistently ranked among the Top 30 Freight Forwarders in the Philippines according to the Civil Aeronautics Board.

Kornet has also been recognized among the Top 10 Contributors by the Philippine Chamber of Customs Brokers, Inc.
